Yes before your ear wax removal appointment, we recommend using olive oil drops, preferably Earol spray, for about 2-3 days twice a day. This allows the ear wax to soften up and it will be easier for the audiologist to remove the ear wax.If earwax is not removed on the same day, is there an extra cost for a second appointment?
Majority of the time the ear wax is removed on the same day. In some cases, we will advise you to use olive oil drops for several days and get you booked for a second appointment, with no extra charge.
