How often should I have a hearing test?

How long does a hearing test take?
We offer 2 types of hearing test. A free hearing check takes around 15-20 minutes. Whereas the full hearing assessment takes around 60-75 minutes.
What is the difference between a free hearing check and full hearing assessment?
A free hearing check is ideal for those who have concerns about their hearing but have never had it tested, especially if they are under 50. A full hearing assessment is recommended if you have been diagnosed with hearing loss, already wear hearing aids, or are considering private hearing aids.
When will I receive my results?
You’ll receive your results immediately after your hearing test, along with expert advice.
Should I get my ears cleaned before a hearing test?
As part of your hearing test, the audiologist will examine your ears to check for any earwax build-up. If there is a build-up that could affect the test, the audiologist will advise you to have it removed. If you suspect you have excess earwax, we recommend booking an ear wax removal appointment.
Are hearing tests accurate?
