Paul Fox4 days agoI was advised by the doctor to have my left ear wax removal as it was blocked . I made my appointment easily on line. The appointment was thorough and the procedure was well explained. My eating has been progressively getting worse over the years. The amount of wax removed from my left ear was a shock.once removed I had my free eating test which was also quick. Invest in your health and if you have eating loss or in my case it was tinatus which stopped once the mass of wax was removed. Well worth the visit.Posted on Google

The audiologist was very thorough and took the time to explain every part of the assessment and the results in a way that was easy to understand. I was finding it difficult to hear on the phone, follow conversations and the TV volume was always loud. I finally booked a hearing test with direct ear care. I had a thorough hearing test and was recommended phonon hearing aids, which are discreet, rechargeable and easy to use. I have now had hearing aids for around 2 year and they have made a huge improvement to my day to day life. Conversations are much clearer and I feel much confident with my hearing. After care device has also been excellent, I come for regular 6 month hearing aid review, and the audiologist always takes the time to check everything, make any adjustments needed and explains things clearly. I previously had NHS hearing aids but never really got on with them and hardly worn them. I've had my ears syringed once before with the water blast in your ear so didn't fancy that again! Did some Googling and found Direct Ear Care, local by. Reviews looked great so I made an appointment for ear wax removal by microsuction. Arrived at the appointment a bit nervous, but Ibrahim was great, calmed me down, assessed the job at hand with great delicacy and then pulled out 2 marble size wax balls from my ears!!! Who knew! Mike Smithson189 days agoGreat from start to finish. I'd booked online for a 15-minute free hearing check but I was fairly sure that the problem was blockage due to ear wax. Ibrahim checked and showed me the images from inside my ears showing the blockage. I'd been expecting to have to come back at a later date but he offered to clear them there and then. He explained everything he was going to do and afterwards showed me the images which showed a clear path to the ear drum. He then gave me a hearing check which, I'm pleased to say, showed I have very good hearing (for a 70-year old). He wasn't by a long way the nearest audiologist to home but it was well worth the extra miles. When I left the building it was like walking into a different world!Posted on Google

I booked microsuction as I was sure that my left ear was congested with wax. All areas of the ear were examined, including a hearing test. I was advised that my ear was actually fine and did not require microsuction. I was told that I had likely got mild inflammation in my Eustachian tube. I was shown exercises to help ease the issue.
